Arhhhmmmm....
You need an award for drinking that much water. I drink what’s needed and that it.
I used to drink 1 to 1.5 litres, and asked GPs, urologist 2020 and nephrologist 2021 and they all said that's OK. With high urge, frequency and pain. Better if I drink only almond milk, worse if I drink water & tea. That amount's gradually gone up, partly from having to swallow the 80-100 pills a day in a way that gets past my stricture without blocking. Which meant 1 litre before each meal = 3L/d. With the
same urge, sometimes leaks, frequency and pain off and on. Managed to control by adjusting (mainly increasing) GABA. So I didn't
want to increase the amount above 3L, and I've always got a dry mouth regardless how much I drink, so I do sometimes cheat by using dry mouth gel, esp. at night. I do need to drink a sip of almond drink almost every time I'm up at night to calm my stomach and slight nausea. But all this curbing was then levered out when I had to admit to my surprise that the headaches in between meals was caused by dehydration, so I now allow myself to drink and I don't get headaches if I drink 4L. So no award, or rather my award is not to get 3-6h of headaches before meals .... The dry mouth is not Sjögren's, the bladder has absolutely no visible issues, and thirst could mean (pre-)diabetes, but my sugar bloods are normal and I have absolutely none of the risk factors.
Have you asked you doctor what’s going on? Never heard anything like it before.
Doctor(s)?
Oh the poor souls just look at me in amazement
... or hide it by looking down and stop talking. Occasionally like the surgeon for my mamilla the other day who cut me short, cos he'd confused himself - first he says he has to make a surgical decision which depends on my B-symptoms, then I describe possible alternate non-cancer reasons to my B-symptoms, and then he said, well he has to make a pure surgical decision...
- so I knew it was me that now had to make the surgical decision, not him! (But it was the same decision: No.)
But OK, when onco checks me for (I'm now guessing) prostate cancer on Monday they'll be getting a full broadside of my old and new array of weird and wonderful symptoms.
Maybe they'll send me for a further merry-go-round ride, if they have any further ideas.
But helpful for me to know you're stumped with this, I actually thought it was fairly normal for us. But I've asked my MCAS people too, let's see what they say.
I often (always?) get sinus burning at the same time, sometimes a frontal headache, my typical histamine symptoms, so that's the idea I'll now be checking in to. Found absolutely nothing on the web about histamine and sunlight, unless via sunburn...
And I'll now be testing various body parts in the sun, incl. face, try sunglasses, praps vary colours, I'm wearing 2-3 black/dark hoodies, down to one dark hoodie when I'm warm enough.
My gut instinct is it's the chest area, but I feel it's the light
and the heat and I wouldn't know how the light gets thru my clothes. Maybe it's a combination of 2 or 3 triggers tho.
Still have to wear 5 pairs of socks even in the blazing "summer" sun at the moment >20°C today, tomorrow at 11:00 full sun, but only 15°C and then more like 10-15°C next week. So lots of interesting conditions to test.
I don't think I'd even be able to even keep 4 litres down!
I used to not feel I could ever get 2 litres in, let alone down - well I don't think down'd bet the problem. Now I sometimes wondered whether this amount of drink would decrease my appetite, but doesn't make much difference, even when I drink it the best way for my esophagus and headaches, which is before meals. Wait a minute: Doesn't make much difference? What if it does? 1 additional litre? It would explain appetite and weight loss. Just not the night sweats.... Hmm....
Ooh, a new word, a new word! What's peaky? I'd've used it for a cortisol or histamine peak, which'd make me NOT want to sleep at all....
Hope you're sleeping tight despite the sun?!
