Hi guys. What a day. Hospital was over two hours behind.
A male nurse got me ready in pre op. Told the nurse I had a good vein to put IV line in.
When she did it OMG it hurt like heck. She pushed it in more, no blood. Pulled it out a bit, no blood. She said sorry but I need to try your other hand.
But when she took needle out blood squirted everywhere. Every time she took pressure off it just squirted. Stopped after about 6 minutes then did other hand first go. I have never had trouble with needles. My hand is still sore.
The dr took three biopsies of my inflamed oesophagus.
She said I do have oesophagitis .
I don’t have a hiatus hernia. Phew.
I just have to keep doing what I am doing . Starving after 3/4 pm . If any abnormal cells in biopsies she will ring me in a few weeks.

Because I actually try to live the real green life, as far as possible, I've only flown 2x when I let myself be emotionally pressed. But from flying with that cheap airline I remember that after managing to overcome my fear of flying and fear of heights, in those planes the claustrophobia amplified by non-existing leg room needed all of my mental attention.
I'm not at all sure about the "intelligent people being silenced" quote, sounds too conspiracy theoristic for my liking.
This and very similar quotes were being tweeted etc. from 2021 on. I quite like one answer I found "Yes, and we also live in a time when people believe that if they are being silenced in any way it's because they must be intelligent."
But whenever people say times are getting worse I like pointing them to the past, in this case for instance, Socrates being sentenced to death in 399 BC for "being too clever".
The others pics show the seeming absurdity of "flying conditions", which of course are part of keeping flying as cheap as possible. Flying being by far one of the most anti-earth things we do, whatever reasons we may have for doing it.

flew as crew on the Qantas 707's back in the 60's/70's - good leg room in economy, all meals served on china and real knives and forks no plastics back then the flying was part of the holiday not just a mode of transportation. I also crewed on the DC4's and again china and silver was used for the meals. Todays flying is simply a bus trip with as many people as possible crushed into the aircraft.

, well it's one thing, they know what your dealing with now (minus biopsy results) so now they know, they can work on making it better for you to manage

That’s it Auriel, I now know. Just got to make sure I don’t eat after mid afternoon. I be fine just got to keep acid at bay and heal the oesophagitis. It’s good to get answers so I know now it’s not bad. Yeh just 3 biopsies, they don’t worry me any more, I have had enough of them in my life.
My osteopath I seen Thursday afternoon still thinks the dysphasia is coming from the DISH in my neck. Something I will bring up next month when I see the rheumatologist.

Harpy, you know next week, they gonna be filling me with ink before a scan (I've never had it done before) I'm wondering if I'm gonna turn into violet beauregarde off Charlie and choc factory, it's the nearest I'll get to being a squid or octopus!!! Why are they filling me with ink? (They haven't tested if ink likes me? . It might not, oh)

It’s all good Auriel, I get that dye in majority of my scans, it gives me the sudden feeling of needing to wee, but I don’t lol. Definitely go for the octopus 
look lol . Yeh I always wondered why we never get tested for a reaction but “ don’t quote me” I think it’s iodine. It’s in our bodies naturally.

. You be ok . Just lay there and enjoy the rest. Just think your happy thoughts. The feeling only lasts a few seconds. It may not happen to you. You will be back out the scan before you know it. I call my bladder mommy bladder. I recon each of my three kids took some control with them when I gave birth to them. All three were over 9lb . So I am sticking to my excuse
