How are you today?

That’s it cookiebaker, those up in power need to live our lives just for a day and I’d bet they’d legalise it.
I have never smoked marijuana ( only prescription drugs in me). the two kinds I take now have the THC in them so it will show on a roadside drug test. So I will be booked if I get tested. It’s an illegal substance still here. In no way does it affect me when I take it, no drowsiness ect.

yeah.. i smoked a little, many, many years ago - but what we had back then was nothing like what is available today.

at the very least, I would like to be able to try it, see if it does anything for me..
My brother lives in Michigan, and has a MM prescription for his back..

in the 60's I spent time in the hippie coffee shops in Greenwich Village and Haight-Ashbury actually at that time it was more like the beatnik community and it was near impossible to not intake drugs -cannabis in the cookies and LSD in the sugar cubes - it was a fun time in the 60's/70's if you needed a joint then just go to Union square and ask a hippie for one - cannabis was illegal then but LSD was legal- mind you cannabis make no effect on me it was just like smoking a cig - in the early 60's down here lsd was the treatment for margrave and it was very effective (only micro doses - no trips)

my doctor asked me if I wanted to try cannabis oil for the fibromyalgia but thinking back to the 60 I decide no.

there is a big difference between MM and CBD, so knowing which he/she is offering is important.

CBD is legal here, MM is not. CBD does offer some benefit to a lot of people. I have a CBD salve that i sometimes use for the arthritis in my hands.. it does help me a little. for others, it helps a lot, and for some it does nothing... just like any other medication.
CBD has extremely low concentrations of THC in it - typically less than 0.5% (here in WI it has to be 0.3% or less)

well, after 2 nights in a row of reasonably decent sleep, i am feeling much better about things.. thank goodness. I really dislike being that down.

Hope everyone else is have a "good" day!

Lsd was legal????? 😳
yep back in the 60's any kid who was good at school chemistry could make it. it was nothing like todays lsd it was pure and clean it became illegal latter in the 60's after every one started tripping on it - Down here it was the drug of choice for the Gov'n departments inhouse parties especially the CSIRO. it was listed in the US as a schedule 1 restricted drug in 1968 however before that it was used by the CIA and army in random tests to see if it was good for interrogation etc. with the clean 50's and 60's lsd low use was not addictive but gave you animated visual effects of parts of your own memory nowadays it is mixed with everything but the kitchen sink and can be deadly it was reported back then that 1kilo weight of LSD could serve the population of the USA - the amount taken is so small usually a drop placed on blotting paper (thus the term communion) or on a sugar cube.

a little bit on a sugar cube could release us from fibromyalgia pain for a short enjoyable time

LSD sounds like a trip, I'd certainly be game for it and a break from routine, really interesting stuff, it would be good to just let it all go.

Of course, the thing about LSD is that you never actually know what amount or strength you are getting. And, if you don't have previous experience with it you also don't know how your mind will react.

It is definitely not a guaranteed pain reliever.

It changes how a person perceives things, causes hallucinations, and can bring about very interesting experiences but it can also cause a person to think they are in a very bad situation: threatened when that is not the reality, or thinking they are on fire, or feeling extreme pain out of the blue.

A person should never take a hallucinogen without having a very safe and secure place to do it and an experienced person (meaning they have not only taken the drug themselves several times but also several times have been the guide for people who have taken it) as a guide and a safe person who will be with you for the duration and can talk you down or deal with any emergent circumstance.

It can be very cool or it can be the worst experience of a person's life. Some people have had negative feelings for years after taking it; others have had beautiful revelations that change their lives, others have felt paranoid for months afterwards or even longer, and some just have fun. And you don't know how it will be if you have not taken it before. You don't really know even if you are experienced with it, because this one time could be different.

Please don't assume that LSD or any other psychoactive drug is going to give you a relief from pain and an enjoyable time if you take it
. Be aware that it can go in any direction.

highly illegal in most countries and when used medically for migraine only a very very small amount is injected ands no hallucinations etc are produced and it is clean - LSD on the streets now may have a number of additives to increase the volume and it can kill you. A number of medicines used for pain relief can be addictive and if you find that you are taking the tablet for the sake of the tablet rather then the pain then you are addicted and should talk to your doctor.
what I was describing as Badger stated was it was quite a moment in time - which has gone

All of the above true. Of course, LSD was illegal 40 years ago too, but available, as it is today. I didn't know it was used as an injectable for migraine; that's interesting.

I wrote that reply post in order for other people coming to read the forum to understand that LSD is not a good choice for pain relief. Since this is an international forum, and often people come here through a browser search just to read one topic thread, I like to try to make sure that they won't read a post here and assume something that is untrue or unwise.

Guys, I'm gonna be off forum for a bit. My op has taken its toll on me (Ive still got challenges) feel free to take over the thread, have fun (stick the good stuff down, the not so good stuff, anyhing!) 🩷 😙💕💕 🩷
