Good morning everyone. I know there have been some posts here before about surgery and fibromyalgia. I am scheduled for surgery in August and would like to be prepared and give my doc some information about pre and post surgery pain management. I've had this surgery before (vulva cancer insitu) and it's a bear for pain and healing. I would be grateful for any advice.

Oh I wish I could save u this pain, but from the ops I've had all u can do is make it very clear before and after ,to the nurses u have fibro and your nerves are going to go into overdrive .and that you need your pain meds on time .
Spell it out load and clear as often as you need to . My thoughts and prays go with u xx

hello,

explain your pain to the doctors with something they would relate to.

like it feels like when you have a cramp in your leg. it's burns like a match was put on my skin.

use something most people have experienced so they can relate to the pain.

Good luck !
