new blood test for fibromyalgia

I just read an article that says there are researchers who may have developed a blood test for fibromyalgia. The blood test can indicate whether you have osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or fibromyalgia. All three have similarities, but in the fibromyalgia patients, the blood showed differences in the way trytophan was processed.

I had not heard about this. It would be great for people if it really works. That would be wonderful if they can have a test that shows which condition you have since they can present in such a similar way. I will have to read the article to learn more.

Interesting article. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but it would be wonderful if this test was available now, so I wouldn't have to wait!
