How are you today?

Oops. @Auriel I keep forgetting people cannot read my mind ( they wouldnt want to, theres some crazy stuff in there!!)

Berocca is a high vitamin mixture, like a large 'tablet' that you drop in water and it makes a fizzy drink. Tastes nice and makes me believe its doing some good. I dont like fizz, so I leave it for a few mins to go flat 😂

You can get it most supermarkets, boots and chemists, probably some health food shops too.
Take extra care and kindness to yourself. 💫💞

I heard that ginger tea is good for nausea, I shall have to try it sometime.

chrystaline absorbic acid (we have a health shop but im not sure if stock it, id have to check)
It's just pure vitamin C in crystalline form - a white crystalline powder, basically - that dissolves in liquid. You can get it in any health food store here; not sure if it's available there, but certainly you should be able to order it online.

It is. And you can also make a ginger tincture that helps with nausea. You just take any kind of clear alcohol, like vodka, and grate raw ginger into it, seal in a tight glass bottle, keep in a dark place for a couple of weeks (or for longer) and strain out the bits of ginger. You can take just an eye dropper full or less and it will help with nausea. I have made this and used it. It didn't help me if I were actually sick with a virus, but for other kinds of nausea it definitely helps.

I don't know what berrocca is
it is available at Tesco's, Sainbury's and I would say most chemists you can get them as Effervescent Tablets, powder or normal tablets do a search for "Berocca UK "

That's interesting, thank you for sharing. I don't seem to tolerate nausea well

Ha. Who does? I have had recurring chronic nausea most of my adult life, and I cannot say I tolerate it well. When I am in a period of time that I am having that happen, it makes it hard to eat, because if I eat I almost always experience nausea afterwards. And, or course, if I don't eat I get nauseous as well. I am far too thin, and there's no possible way that I can eat enough to gain the weight the doctor and I both wish I would gain.

ooh,me and nausea dont get on well either. When stress is bad nausea makes its appearance. Also one of the RA meds is a git for nausea so I am prescribed folic acid tablets to counteract that side effects. Then again a side effect of folic acid? Yep, can cause nausea! One of those times when you just gotta laugh..

Hello everyone, despite our discomfort, stresses in life and however we feel about the holiday season I wanted to wish everyone well with lots of love. Personally it's been a rough year for family and friends. I'm not fussed about Xmas, but I will be grateful to spend time with them and try to pace myself getting through more mindfully. A present would be nice though (please be whiskey 🤞).

Take care folks

Hi @Badger this has been the craziest year I've ever had, and that's saying something. I do actually love a lot about the festivities, and quite simply looking forward to a few days of rest, almost time to catch up with myself.

I wish you - and everyone here - better times.

As you say, pace yourself and enjoy having people you love about you. Somehow I'm pretty certain they'll be some whiskey involved...
