What do you think Fibromyalgia is?

I don’t know that it is? I know mine started after I was severely traumatised by someone (so in this case stress!) I think coming to terms with it and that you might not be able to do all the things you did before (or at least the amount) is something that can help with frustration, not everyone is going to understand the condition and you can’t do much about that so just accepting is just a healthier way to deal with it (and I know it’s not easy) I read a quote once accept what you can’t change + change what you can’t accept, I kinda live by those rules 🐾🐱🐾

That's a nice way of putting it and a good mantra to remember. Seems like stress is a trigger for many us.

Ah, waxing philosophical... but for once I'm content with keeping it short: Is fibromyalgia sorta an individualized multi-causal "Body Hurt"?
It's screaming "TOO MUCH!" at us, needing us to pace & self-care. Why? Hmm. Praps: Each body, fibro or no, has its amount of "spoons", some more than others and if we chronically overused them due to some imbalance, it'll stop us in our tracks? Same as when we overdo it, now we've got it...
I have to apologise for an oversight - hair loss isn't something I'd ever heard of with fibro, but I just Googled it, and apparently it can happen - I had no idea!
I was just gonna doubt this, blaming the monster list overdoing it.... Then duckduckwent myself, found wikipedia mentioning it and referring to "The American College of Rheumatology Preliminary Diagnostic Criteria for Fibromyalgia and Measurement of Symptom Severity". So I spose I also stand corrected, grudgingly. *humph*. But 😏 it's no core symptom, and I'd get a hormone & skin check to make sure it's nothing else - sez clever clogs, who doesn't want to stand corrected. 🙈🙉🙊
