Has anyone has success with magnesium oil for pain?

Just wanted to make a general comment about magnesium.

If you take magnesium and you find yourself running to the bathroom for fear of an "accident", lower your magnesium dosage. The best way to know if you are taking too much magnesium is that side effect. This counts for all forms of magnesium (caps, oils, etc). I'm close to getting mine just right.

Just a bit of info for those not in the know.

Hi spray on a back scrub brush to apply to your back or maybe you can buy a back rub with a sponge instead of a brush attached. I’m sure Iv seen them. Good luck. Nan

@Nan Already aware of this, but thanks. I'm waiting first to see if CBD for Life Original Rub is effective on my hand/wrist osteoarthritis before deciding whether to purchase a back ointment application tool for CBD and magnesium.

I have been using it for quite a while. It works on some pains consistently and others sporadically. I get it on Amazon and it is reasonably inexpensive. Actually I don’t measure it and spray it into my hand and then on to the pains. Aside from FM I just had knee replacement and use it on my calf and behind my knee. I also use lidocaine roll ons. I gave my daughter magnesium oil for her RLS and she said it helped. We both have neuropathy but neither of us have experienced a lot of relief with the spray.

Hi there
I've been using the oil spray where ever I need it and I would not be without it, I even put it on the souls of my feet.

Someone told me yo buy organic castor oil for pain. She said it was better than any pain killer but the magnesium oik works better for me, so thank-you for the information.

I've never heard of anyone having success with castor oil for pain.

I would be very interested to hear about it if anyone has found castor oil helpful for pain.

@sunkacola My CBD for Life rub arrived today. I applied a small amount to my hands and wrist. I like that I can apply it there without greasiness, etc.

Question: Does it work immediately or do I need to wait 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours? Any idea? Second, how many times should I reapply during the day? Obviously, after washing my hands perhaps, but how long does the relief last for you?

@JamieMarc I think there's probably so much variation among people and how it will affect them -- or even not work for them -- that there aren't really any good answers to those questions. I don't think there's any harm at all in reapplying it as many times in a day as you want or need to. And, of course, it might not work for you.

I certainly hope that it does.....but if you don't feel any difference from using it you might be a person who won't benefit from it. I hope that's not the case! But, if it didn't work on your hands, you might try it elsewhere on your body. I think sometimes things like that might work better in one place than in another.
It has helped me, but I use it for sharp acute pains in my hands and in my legs, and I don't try to use it for the kind of pain that is overall or on-going or constant. I am not sure it would work as well for that kind, although I really should try it I suppose.

@sunkacola I think it might be working on my osteoarthritis in my wrist, but since this is just day one I'm hesitant to say whether it is working for me or not. I sense it might be seeing as I'm typing on my computer at 5 PM, something I would not normally be able to do without pain, so I don't unless I must. I like the other ingredients in it, too, as you described when I first asked about it. Smells nice too. I agree with you that it's going to affect every individual differently as our pains and our physiologies are very personal and unique.

I'm going to keep using it on my wrists and hands for a week, evaluate, then try on other parts of my body. That's when I'll invest in one of those back applicators. Might try it on my poor feet, too! :) I really think it's going to help me! :)

I'll let you know in a couple weeks if it's helping me. Thanks so much for bringing it up. I'm always excited to try something new.

@sunkacola Now I can say without a doubt that this CBD rub works really great for the osteoarthritis in my right hand and wrist! Yay! I'm ordering a back applicator tool today so I can use it on my spinal osteoarthritis. Can't wait! I am so grateful to you (and good for me for staying on top of forum posts)!:D It works fast, too. This will be a regular staple for my pain tool kit.

I am so very glad to hear this, JamieMarc!!
