@SBee @Nan @sunkacola @Blitzy @Rainbow @bbbarnard
G'day everyone, and any others.
I like that, bbbarnard. When a child, there was a carpentry supply place, the name was BB Bushby, we called it BBB Ushby
ohh, I hit 'Post" and now 'edit' so no idea if this works (head is in interesting spaces).
I can identify with pretty much every issue we have, and the good side is, we know we are not alone, and for me, that makes a big difference.
@Rainbow I'm always wandering off in conversations, verbal or chat, and it seems I am getting more talkative, which might not be good for the recipients
Is it possible for you to follow your dream and live in a caravan like you mention? I'm a person that needs space, but can also live in a motel room or caravan if circumstances require. Permanently......nope, don't think I could do that.
Your family just drop in, d you find that pleasant or does it bug you at times? I find I like company, but I also like my own space. If I had too many dropping in, that is, very often, I think I'd be feeling overwhelmed. I need that "me time" to recoup without needing to be "present" for others, but just potter doing whatever I feel inclined to do.
@bbbarnard by golly I get that ! Becoming frustrated because the gremlins decide it's party time, so we learn to leave them be and go do something else in the meantime. It's a bit of self discipline to do that, to actually quit before frustration leads to self-anger, and ultimately to nothing much being achieved anyway. I'm trying so very hard to learn that. (she says, realising it's probably time to rest the hands because a lot to do tomorrow, but she soooo wants to communicate and .....)
@Blitzy I've done the same thing, reading out or showing posts to ex and daughter so they can see that I am just like so many others, that it is not 'faking it", not 'laziness' and I think my daughter understands, but ex, well, his nature to disbelieve me anyway (hence ex)
A few weeks back we all got some wog that was going around, and I spoke often with daughter as symptoms were mostly brain fog, aches, lack of motivation, lack of interest, lack of concentration, lethargy...(sound familiar ???) but also nausea and headaches. I was trying to figure if it was fibro or a wog, but they were the same and it gave me an excellent opportunity to say "Hey, that's what I have pretty much all the time" and since then, my daughter has greater understanding and acceptance. Ex, well, I think he sort of forgot as he improved
Anyway, I'd better rest up, or I won't be driving tomorrow.
Take care everyone
