My insurance does pay for all of my doctor's visits. Unfortunately, however, they only pay for physical therapy, lab work, and things like x-rays and ct-scans at 80% /after/ I meet my $1,000 deductible. I'm about half way there, though, after having had a series of 28 (plus 2 do-over) x-rays done last month and then 2 visits to physical therapy at $75 a pop. Thankfully I only have to pay the adjusted contract rate (what the insurance would pay the doctor) and not what the doctor charges the insurance! I will say that they get INCREDIBLE contract rates for lab work. The lab work my rheumatologist did ran $421, but I'm only having to pay $28.
