Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia slightly more than 10 yrs ago. Been fighting it since then. Had very bad pain, insomnia, bladder prblms etc (whatever the FM package has I suppose).
Got better with exercise and eating healthy. (After wasting money in a lot of multi level marketing products)...
Hi,
I was diagnosed with the "F word" on Monday as I was dreading would happen when I went in for a consult with the rheumatologist. I am only 27 years old and have been dealing with chronic pain on a daily basis for 8 months now and have had chronic pain issues for years. I knew it was going...
I feel my husband is in complete denial of my diagnose of fibro. It surprises me because as I was attending Pain management, and going from doctor to doctor trying to find out what is wrong with me and why my neck, lower back, shooting pains here and there, feet hurt, etc. etc... He was talking...

Hello everybody! I am brand new to this forum, in fact this is my first post.
I am a 29 year old female diagnosed with fibromyalgia, scoliosis, shoulder nerve impingement and mayofascial pain syndrome from a car accident a few years back. I was diagnosed (finally!) in late 2011 after years of...

Do you exercise regularly for pain management? I was in a bad state and very sick from getting less and less sleep. So I decided to something about it. My pain is worst in my shoulders and hips so I started walking for a half hour every day. I also estimated my healthy weight range and realized...
Hi all,
I have had FM since 1998 but am new to this forum. There are so many useful posts that I am excited to try such as changing my diet. You guys rock! My doctor is begging me to get out and exercise. As many of you know, it comes with a price. I went to Water World with my family and...
I'm extremely down in the dumps. Maybe I could get some guidance from veteran sufferers? Here is what is going on (and please excuse my disjointed post):
I was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in March (2013). I have suspected that I had it for almost 3 years. Two years ago, I had chronic...

Hi - I've been on gabapentin now for a few months - 900-1200 mg /day as well as Cymbalta - 60 mg per day and have gained 10 lbs. This is a lot for me. I am short and have always watched my weight. I eat well and exercise regularly. My doctor suggested weaning off the gabapentin and...
I am fairly new to fibro - was diagnosed right at a year ago. I just found you guys yesterday (yay!).
I have struggled tremendously with medications - the side effects on some are horrible, others do nothing for me. I think I have come to the conclusion that I need to stop expecting a miracle...
I do not get very depressed until recently and I need urgent advice. Was a size 12 in 2011 and now I am a size 16 and not losing weight no matter what. I am very weight concious, a diet and exercise freak for almost all my life. Doctors and nutrientians confirm that I am doing all the right...
