Hi! I'm sorry if this is an inappropriate use of your time--I don't know what o do. My 58 yr old sister has been sick for over 6 months and her doctor who does not believe in CFS) has ruled everything out.  My sister has a hx of fibromayalgia  and I believe that she is having a really horrible flare up of CFS and I am trying to help by finding an informed doctor. She lives in Columbus Ontario but I will drive her wherever she can get some help.

Hello,
  We recently moved back to Ontario (from Quebec) and my friend requires a Doctor that can properly diagnose him.  He's known since his early 20's (he's 54 now) that he has suffered from 'Chronic fatigue syndrome/Fibromyalgia' however he needs to see a reputable Doctor (regarding such) as he's unable to work due to it.
  In other words, he's just applied for ODSP, and as such, he needs to see Specialist (to confirm his condition) as obviously ODSP requires "forms" to be filled out.
  Currently, due to moving back (from Quebec) he dosen't even have a family doctor.
  Would you be able to provide the name of a Doctor that he could see?  He's affected by his condition on a daily basis, and any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  He's currently on social assistance therefore he need's a Doctor whose not going to charge outrageous fees, as obviously he funds are very limited.

hello would like the new phone number for this support group. big question any dr.name that actually know anything about US ? ? we exist and need proper direction and support from the medical community .anyone out there able to share any good news about a dr ? thanks

I'm 39, diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 16 years ago. Best informed doctors I've found for this condition are a Rhumetologist (sp?). If pain is stopping you from life then get a referral for a pain clinic, they will treat the symptoms
