Day 7

Although, I don't post here everyday I do think on things to write about that could help someone else who is coping with the loss of work or the pain and heartache we get from family and friends that think we are faking it all.

First off I too struggle with paying bills and finding enough food and doing my own thing. this year I hope to have a small garden that will give me a few vegetables to help me save money at the grocery store.

Next I need some more income. This is hard for me because I have trouble with hearing words and spelling names and places right. I keep getting calls from a company that works with Social Security Disability and the Ticket to Work program. However, they want people to use their phones and computers to recieve calls or make calls, or take orders from customers. I am not good at this sort of thing and my ability to understand this due to brain fog would make this choice a bad one. Yet they keep calling and I don't know what to do about it. Do any of you use the Ticket To Work program?

Other things I do to make money are doing surveys on-line and writing on blogs. I found this information by doing web searches and by going to a web site that offers lots of jobs openings for free. All you do is search and scroll through the lists of jobs until you find something you think you can do. I trick of this is by not taking on more jobs than you can safely handle. when I started doing writing I picked 3 sites. After getting started I realized I could not handle that many places and do a good job. So now I do 2. Yes, the money is a bit less but I am not worn out by running out of things to write about. I can be more creative and do a better job.

So how about you. What kind of work do you want to do from home? Do you have any special skills that would make a job like office work easy for you to do? Can you type? How about speaking on the telephone? Sometimes babysitting is an easy way to supplement your income.
Do a web search for a website called workersonboard, and maybe there you will find something you can do to make a bit of extra income from home. But remember just because your doing the work from home it does not mean you can be lazy. In fact you may find yourself working harder than ever before. So take it easy and don't take on too much and it will work out for you.

I hope you all have a very good day, and I will be back another day to share. Please feel free to post comments here. Bye!
