Has anyone had bad pain on the sides of their feet and found it was coming from the sciatic nerve? If so, what to do, where does one begin?

if you believe its coming from the sciatic nerve then the problem is highly likely to be in the spinal cord around l4 l5 or so - ask the doctor to make a referral to a neurologist he will most probably order a MRI or catscan

I have pain on the sides and tops of my feet, especially if I don't wear some kind shoes around the house.

Im suffering from painful feet it gets so painful i cant put any weight on it. There are other painful problems i have with my feet sometines just below my ankles i get pain its not as painful as the first one i mentioned. My doctor said it sounded like planter fasciitis. I went to google and typed in does fibromyalgia cause painful feet i took a photo of what it mentioned i was going to add the photo but im worried its the wring photo i will go ahead anyway and you could also google it yourself. You could also look at the website as there are a lot of use full information about diet and more. I hope this is helpful

Thank you for sharing the article. Just recently been having more intense heal pain in right foot which has cause me to limit how much I can walk. Walking for exercise has been one thing I could still perform since my FM diagnosis, but now, not so much.

Yes. I hear you on this. Foot pain always baffled me. I could not work out why it would just come and go so suddenly. My heals ache sometimes, and then it goes away for weeks. I have recently had a strange tremor in my right big toe. Its bizarre!!!!

Yes, I've also found my feet are so painful at times that I hobble around until they warm up a little. But even sitting down for 5 minutes, then getting up again, I find they're back to really painful. I've found this happens more often when my immune system gets another knock from any virus that's doing the rounds every few months.
Shoes that are normally snug suddenly pinch at the flare up of painful feet. Elevating my legs as much as possible helps, meaning the blood flow isn't downwards and pumping swelling into my feet and ankles.
Anyone else have suggestions?
