Laughing with a sore tongue...well, it is bitter sweet lmao!

You know, I have so many issues that I deal with that I have just learned to take it as it comes for the most part. I'm not perfect and I succumb to the pain and frustration for sure. I am now learning to vent here when I am at that point instead of letting it build up to a really bad level. Topamax I just started and so far for me it has helped my episodes to be lessened to half of what they were.

I have my days when I am just done too. Sometimes I feel scared and overwhelmed when I think about the future with this condition. It helps to have multiple ways to pick myself up - humor, supportive family, good friends, this forum etc.

I'm really glad the Topomax is helping. Hopefully you will get more relief as you take it longer
