I have seen others post about this kind of pain before, and I have pain in my hips quite often myself. I think it's fairly common.
HOWEVER, if this is a new symptom for you, please go as soon as you can to have it checked out with your doctor. Those of us with fibro always tend to attribute any new pain or other symptom to the fibro, which is easy to do because fibro has so many symptoms and they are so varied. And most of us really don't want yet another doctor appointment.
But it is very important to have anything new that crops up checked out, just in case it is NOT fibro causing it. It might be something that needs attention, and even that can be easily treated to make it go away.
In the case of this hip pain, it might possibly be made better with physical therapy with other targeted exercises or stretches. Not saying I know that, of course....just a thought. Anything like that needs to be checked with the doctor first, and approached carefully to make sure it doesn't just make it worse.
