Gone potty? Plants gardens and lawns .

Thanks for the laugh you guys, you’re so funny.
We only had leeches here when we flood, they get washed through in the flood waters.
The track we walked was very damp. Was a haven for leeches so I definitely won’t walk there again.
I have seen the drs on botched use leeches on a ladies nose after her nose job 😬 they just hung there sucking on the tip of her nose 🫣
Love those pots, they are lovely.

cos flowers can't grow out of trees can they
Made me curious again and found 11 "plants-that-grow-on-trees" - the one we know is mistletoe (a parasite, but a nice one), but the other ten are absolutely beautiful, as you can see from the names:
Bird’s Nest Fern and Staghorn Fern (Australia - Harpy, d'you know them?)
Christmas Cactus (we know that one too, cos it also grows on soil, we have one that tries to blossom, I'm working on it)
Crispum Orchid
Fireball Bromeliad
Flaming Sword
Flamingo Flower
Orchid Cactus
Pink Quill
Vanda Orchid
All except the last from South America, but also elsewhere... 🌸

They are very cute aren't they 🥰 only 89p apparently! (it's an online shop, I think 🤔) I might buy things from them they sell cheap back packs you can charge your phone with, (backpacks might be better for me these days, I'm finding bags hard to carry ) we'll be going back to the 80s (where everyone looked like a turtle, haha) 🐢😙💞

More yellow! (The last is again cheating, not in our own garden, but the same as the first ones, so up and coming....)

Bird’s Nest Fern and Staghorn Fern (Australia - Harpy, d'you know them?)
Funnily enough i have those , and my daughter over the road had to get dangerous trees cut down and she had a small baby elk horn growing so I claimed it 😊 she also had a massive birds nest fern up in the fork of the tree and has replanted it on trunk in her garden. But I will get a photo tomorrow of her stag horn in her casuarina tree out the back, it’s massive and totally stunning.
I’ve also got Christmas cactus in pots, they are so easy to grow as are the orchid cactus.

Christmas Cactus (we know that one too, cos it also grows on soil, we have one that tries to blossom, I'm working on it)
Crispum Orchid
Fireball Bromeliad
Flaming Sword
Flamingo Flower
Orchid Cactus
Pink Quill

And I don't think I've shown the daffodils quite enough yet.... 👐

By the way no one's asking for more of our giant cherry in full blossom, now raining white petals all over the moss meadow, or the Andrea-rhododendrons getting on to the job, or the new tulips - whoops, they're hiding amongst the daffodils, or different colours to yellow?

Until you do I'll be taking up the potty problem next....
Because the pots are still problems for me, how to make them appear natural,
that'll be something you might be able to make suggestions about...

they are so easy to grow
arrrrgh, you're saying that too, that's what my mum says too, and sends me photos of hers with 30 blossoms, doing nothing special, and we have difficulty getting 5-6.
So I'm now writing down a list exactly what to do what time of the year (just repotted them again) and see if I can set it off this year....

All those beautiful yellow flowers, I definitely will get to the nursery and get some yellow in my gardens.
Is one of those flowers a dandy lion? We call them wet the beds 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Very easy , just snap a piece off and stick it in the pot, I only water mine once a week, mine like it fairly dry.
Fingers crossed they grow for you, they really put on a good show.

Yep, #6, #8 and #9, I love 'em, don't care what others think. Didn't know they were diuretic! :-) only knew that of stinging nettles. Don't need that at all, thank you, good that I haven't tried dandelion salad. And best keep our guinea pigs off of them, at least before we snuggle them or let them run....!
#7 is the primrose. 1-5 = 10 I haven't found out yet. Neither in the set of 4 #4.

Hmm, I meant the one we have isn't blossoming. But I spose I could have loads and fresh ones might blossom better... OK, will do!

🤣🤣 not sure if the “wet the beds “ lol are a diuretic or not, we grew up being told ‘ don’t smell those or you will wet the bed’ so I told my kids the same 🤦🏻‍♀️
Definitely don’t want the little Guinea pigs weeing on ya 🤣🤣🤣.

Maybe place them in a different position. I have mine pretty much full shade, maybe get a little filtering light through the trees in the late afternoon.

We used to have a massive plum tree, over 60 years old and never pruned, the ground was beautifully covered in ver pretty show of white petals. Miss the tree covered in white then the ground covered.

No plum's grew on the tree? 😞, My late grandad used to have a snowdrop tree, I remember the times it flowered + all went on the ground, it was super pretty!
