@Dedegurl59, hi there, Have you tried yoga? Not any old yoga, but specific classes taught by someone who has worked with Fibro?

Here is a serious study that I found on the topic that was published in a reputable medical journal (Pain 2010, 14 October 2010). A pilot randomized controlled trial of the Yoga of Awareness program in the management of fibromyalgia

This was a randomized and controlled study that showed some promising results. The greatest benefits came from reductions pain, fatigue, rigidity, sleep deprivation, depression and anxiety.

I have read the study a few times can explain any details

I didn’t find cbd to work either @Nan (I was using drops from our health food store) i used them initially for anxiety (they didn’t work for that either) guess some things work for some but not for others, not nice being in pain all time is it nan?

Aw @JayCS you have a tumour! I’m sad for you now, is it affecting the fibro? Is it the kind that would cause more problems if it’s removed? (I’m asking too many questions I will stop) 💚🧚🏻‍♂️💚

@Creola17, if my next door neighbour knew you grew and made all those different things he’d be your best friend for life! 😆

°°Never too many questions°° 🤗 Thanks :-) - we're assuming it's completely harmless until it proves otherwise by growing. Surgically it would be pretty easy to remove. But knowing similar procedures on my back that would definitely worsen my fibro. So apart from the neurosurgeon himself, every doc is saying: leave it. So I "treasure" it and speak kindly to it (when I remember it's there). 🐰

Are you going to name it @JayCS? sometimes people have names for their things

Hehe, true, never thought of that. I'm trying "Arnie", no idea why.
This will probably only be understood my rock-fans (like you): More harmless than something like "Bullet in the Head" 🎸 :p - which is another way I look at it, fondly. 🤪. Ah no, that's a bit of a no-brainer 🤯 😏 . And wrong, but "Bullet in my Spine" doesn't sound as cool, like RATM (try saying or singing that... no... ). Ah, what about Rage 🔛 Reggie...?

But... after all that... putting a name on it is making it too important. Same as I don't put a name on "evil"...

Cool! 😎 not heard rage for ages! I think I’m due to go down my old musical roads, yeah your right naming it’ll bring more awareness , long as your being looked after @JayCS and it’s being checked that’s the main thing 👍🏻👌🏻⭐

Just remember wheat which is in alot of processed food is sprayed with poison.
Actually, the sad truth is that these days everything is sprayed with poison, if by "poison" you mean pesticides, growth hormones, and so on. The only way to avoid that would be to eat exclusively organic food grown in a location where there are no winds that would carry that residue to the fields where the organic fields are, nor carry any of the genetically modified seed. This is virtually impossible to achieve these days, although in certain parts of the country it can still be accomplished. Not easy, though, and not for people who live in populated areas.

I agree. And am the same about the word "evil". Don't use it. What is good and what is bad is all a matter of perspective, meaning what species you are, who you are, and how something affects you personally. I don't find that the word evil is useful in life. Nothing is inherently "good" or "bad", although our perception can cause us to experience things that way.

Hi it’s Nan now I realise what you meant about my post being removed. Hugs to JayCs and everyone in our fibro family. It’s a lovely day. ❤️

Thanks for your interesting reply thank you. ❤️

I kinda get what you mean @sunkacola about perspective, like serial killers really enjoy what they do and get kinda high fives from people who do the same or who idolise them and also racists and the nazis thought they were right to do what they did and on the other side of things other people think all these things were complete atrocities and devastation causing so like different perspectives is it? hope your ok today, hope all the forum is having an ok day too.
