Do any of you know a good pain management doctor in the DFW area (specifically McKinney, Plano, Allen would be great, but I'm willing to travel further into Dallas)?
My doctor has been great until recently. He has been weaning me off of my hydrocodone that I have been on for a bulging disc in my neck, because it is better now.
I told him that the hydrocodone is helping my fibromyalgia pain. It's actually helping a great deal, but he wants me to only be on the Gabapentin, which only helps a little.
I told him that and he said that he doesn't want me to be dependent on opioids.
I need to find a new doctor.
