I have a family member who I love very much, but they are constantly convinced that if I would just do things "their" way, I will be magically cured of my fibromyalgia...
Hi, all newbie here.I've had symptoms for 15 years, diagnosed 5 yrs ago. I've had headaches all my life, but escalated to migraines after severe life-changing reaction to Levaquin. Amitriptylline, Gabapentin, Migrelief, several OTC supplements. Was on a beta blocker but side effects too much...
Went to the doctor with a long list of pain- arms, shoulders, elbows, wrists, swelling in hands and feet, cold hands- always, daily migraines, severe jaw pain, inability to lose weight, thought I had dementia, never feel rested...the list goes on and on.
Have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism...
The only shoes I can pretty much wear now are my comfortable Crocs. I used to wear slippers, boots, moccasins (were my favorite), ect. But now, if I wear something else besides my Crocs, my feet very much suffer from it that evening. At work, if I have an important meeting and have to dress up...
I had my rheumatologist appt today and saw a different doctor. I've waited months to see them, have been at my GP constantly and am attending regular meetings with my boss at work due to sickness absence. I pinned all my hopes on getting some answers today and the doctor was useless!
