The problem I see with Fibromyalgia is that it is still not understood why the fibrous muscle tissue forms and continue to build without ever healing.
I believe the nerves that run through these muscle fibers are constantly causing the pain we all feel.
I have had electrical muscle stimulation...
I was diagnosed this month and have been on daily hydrocodene 10/325 4 x a day. It only takes the edge off. I'm concerned that I I'll have to live on pain pills the rest of my life. Does everyone take them?

I know the treatment options for FM vary a lot, and am wondering if anyone has found help with either yoga or tai chi?
Even with this most recent flare of fibro, with a painful episode of costochondritis, I am trying to find other treatment options that are more naturopathic.
For me fatigue...

I've joined an online group once before but didn't follow up, mainly because I still try to keep up with...

I stood next to his bed in the emergency room for maybe 2 hours while the plastic...
How many of you are on high doses of morphine for your pain? I take 180mg ER and 120 mg IR a day. Without it the pain would be excruciating, with it the pain is bearable, a 5 out of 10. Even with the morphine, I can do very little. I mostly rest at home. I only leave the house once a week...

The Dr made me a appointment for my daughter .i had to ask for three times to repeat the date and time.

What I hate the most (today) about suffering from fibromyalgia is how I never know what my limit for activity is until I've suddenly reached it. I will be in a "normal" state of sensitivity, aching, stiffness and set about a task- and complete it. I rest for a bit, and I set about another...
