For years I've been told I had neuropathy, then pheripherial neuroopathy, and last year Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease. I just saw a new neurologist and he did lots of test, including a MRI of the brain and he's ruled out everything neurological. But, he does think it's Fibromyalgia. I don't know...

I am new to this forum --am happy to have found someone who recognizes the pain I am in.
I was diagnosed with Fibro in 1994 by a specialist who has since passed away. My PCP does not believe in Fibro so I went to the new Rheumatologist in the area because his ad said he treats Fibro. I was so...

My neurologist told me that my headaches stem from stress. When my neck gets tense, it goes up to my head. It's a fibro thing, he says. I never thought of it that way. Anyone else have chronic migraines? If so, what do you take for them? I was prescribed Imitrex.
I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I do have a referral to a rheumatologist. The down side is I can't be seen until February 1.
I am not entirely sure I have fibromyalgia, and maybe I am in denial. It just seems like from what I read, most everyone has it much worse than I do pain wise. I have...

I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I have a referral to a rheumatologist this coming Tuesday. My referral states: possible arthritis or fibromyalgia.
I have been asked by friends and family before if it could be fibromyalgia. Every time I looked it up, I didn't think so. Mainly because I don't...
My pain started with both ankles aching and "burning" in January and a few days later my thighs ached liked I had done a workout yet I hadn't. I hadn't been on the treadmill because I thought that is what caused my ankle problems. Then I started with the tingling and numbing sensations in my...
