Hi,
New here. I suspect I likely have Fibro, and my pain has gone from occasional to more or less constant (mostly in my arms and legs). I saw my GP last week, who also agreed it could be fibro, and did offer to start me on drugs right away for the pain. I can't remember if she said Cymbala or...
I'm just wondering does anyone else have family members with fibro...CFS or ME.
I have often read that it is hereditary even though it may take a trigger or several to switch on the overload on our minds and bodies that cause this disease,..and why more trauma can change it from mild to...
Hi all,
Glad to have found this forum, and hope I'll find some advice/support.
I'm currently seeking a diagnosis for my "mystery pain", which I suspect could be Fibro.
Back story (apologies for length): I'm in my early 30s. I have Celiac Disease and have been gluten-free for 8 years. My...
Hello,
I am newly diagnosed as of January. However, I have been in pain for over a year, and felt "funny" for two years. I am suffering from RLS, muscle twitches only when I lay down, crawling feeling all over my body, achy joints, burning skin, and fibro fog.
The last two days I have...
1. Autoimmune Paleo Diet
2. Chiropractor / muscle work
3. Alleve
4. CBD oil when necessary
I HIGHLY recommend the diet. My pain level went from an 8/9 down to a 5 within 3 days. I do have to take Alleve every day, but it is manageable most days now.
Hi everyone,
I'm new and from Australia. I am so glad that I just found this forum. :) A friend recommended looking up Fibromyalgia when I was discussing the symptoms of my ongoing illness and pain on my Facebook. I post there to try and cope with what I'm going through and my online friends...
Hi I have just found this forum and I hope I can get some help. I have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia by my GP but am taking Cymbalta (Duloxene) prescribed by her for depression. I am pretty sure i have fibro on reading all the symptoms. I have a flare up at the moment with terrible...
As you might know I have been on here quite some time sharing my advice and life with fibromyalgia with all of you. I got my SSD in 2007, and up until this year they never once contacted me concerning rechecking for eligibility, that is until I got a part time job this year.
I came home one day...

Wondering what anti-inflammatory works best fibro pain. I've only really used Motrin, which works somewhat, but it's also the only thing that works for my migraines and I have to be really careful to space out my usage or I get break-through headaches - not pretty. I'm not really taking anything...
Hello, I am new here. I am not new to fibro. I am also not new to auto-immune illness.
I am learning though now that often it is the fibro that disrupts my life the most.
I have only just learned that fibro can be the cause of mood changes.
For over a month I have been experiencing the terrible...
