    hello i am new

Great to have a place like this for support. I am currently taking Cymbalta 30 mg in the morning and gabapentin 300 mg at bedtime and this works pretty good, but fatigue is sometimes overwhelming, not sure if it is the medication or the fibro that causes me to fight sometimes to stay awake.

    Sun Sensitivity

Since I've had Fibromyalgia my eyes have been extremely sensitive to light. I pretty much wear sunglasses most of the time but recently I noticed some changes when I'm in the sun. I've spent pretty much every summer in the sun and I naturally have dark skin and tan easily. My 3rd time in the sun...

I was diagnosed two years ago, but the worst symptoms didn't hit until this past winter. I'm 62, so I assumed a lot of my aching joints/bones was arthritis, which I also have...runs in my family. I was tested at age 42 for rheumatoid arthritis, but was negative. I had an aunt who had crippling...

Hi everyone, I've recently been diagnosed but think I've had this for some time now. It was thought I had arthritis, but no signs. Now I have high potassium and low vitamin D. On medication for both. Only painkillers for Fibro, not very good though.

Hello, I got the fibro diagnosis in March but have had symptoms for a few years. I'm having a tough time accepting this. I've always been fit, active, and had a pretty high tolerance to pain. I now find myself exhausted, loopy, and in constant pain. I'm not taking medication yet but am...
