Article I Read That May Explain Some Doctor Reactions

This was very interesting... an article I read recently. It makes sense when you think about it. Turns out that tons of ever-present drug seekers are claiming to have fibro pain just to get medication. Maybe everyone else already knew how widespread this is, but I didn't. And I'm...

    Fibro and Yoga

Anyone tried Yoga? I did and I think I over-did it. I took a one-hour class and was immediately very sore afterward. Today (the next day) I am still sore AND very tired. At least yesterday I felt sore but energized. Is this the norm? Does my body need to adjust?

    Diagnosed in March

Hi everyone, In some ways I think I am one of the fortunate fibromyalgia sufferers in that I knew almost immediately what I had as my mother had it too. In March I had an event that lasted several days when I had slamming fatigue, flu symptoms, nausea. I expected to get better but I didn't. The...

    Stress/upset and Fibromyalgia

I have come to the conclusion that stress and emotional upset will make your/my fibromyalgia worse. If I get upset and say cry, right away I start to get pain in my body. And if I get some kind of bad news, within one hour I start having arthritis type pain and the pain is bad, I will have...

    Does it ever get better?

So I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in March (2014) and started taking 60mg off cymbalta (30 twice a day) and have relief from the pain and most of the fatigue. Except, here is the problem... Before the pain and fatigue started I was working 50-60 hours a week in a high stress environment, I...

Starting to think I was misdiagnosed.... :/

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after 2 horrible car accidents... Personally, I have never felt like this was my actual or full diagnosis... My Dr's have, over the past several months started looking in to Crps aka complex regional pain syndrome which used to be called RSD reflex sympathetic...

    Acetylcholine and Brain fog.

I will probably discuss this elsewhere in the future, but this is just a testing ground for my theory at the moment, to see what others think. It is known that there are acetylcholine receptors in the tongue. This is why nicotine gum works and why smokers can feel the effect of nicotine before...

    My Husband is an *******!

New to the forum. Thanks for all the amazing information. I want to cry knowing I'm not alone (okay I am actually tearing up - stupid emotions). So, I've been 'dealing' with all of my 'issues' for most of my life. I've actually had issues since I was a small child. My mother did what she...
