    Hello!

I am 39 and just recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia after a myriad of doctor's visits and blood work tests. I've been placed on a extended release NSAID pain reliever which seems to help somewhat. However, I'm still struggling with consistently getting a good night's sleep and the subsequent...

Docs always telling me there is nothing wrong

Hi - am new to this forum ... apologies for short sentences or phrases... too tired to type more - now it's 2am in my morning here - have had insomnia and fatigue for last decade and recently pains got worse. Went to do checks and scans and all, specialists and docs all telling me there is...

    Newly diagnosed

Though I've been having increasing pain (and other symptoms) over the last couple of years, I was only diagnosed with fibromyalgia last week. My rheumatologist also thinks I have Sjorgren's syndrome or some other autoimmune condition (maybe lupus). I just had blood work done today. On one hand...

    Fatigue and pain

Usually my fibro related fatigue is pretty easy to manage but the last couple of days it's seemed to have gotten a lot worse. Last night for instance, I slept eight hours straight and then woke up, I was up for maybe an hour, and I was already fighting to stay awake. I've also been in a lot more...

    Totally drained

Hello. I'm new here and this is my first post. I'm so glad to have found this site after a couple of years of battling this on my own. My journey has been long and hard. Doctors used to think I was imagining the symptoms and called me a hypochondriac for years. Finally I found a specialist who...

    tired

Hi! I just wanted to say hi! I'm new to the group. I can relate to some of the posts. I just lost a friend because partly she didn't want to be supportive and then got verbally abusive so I had to let her go. The problem is she was my best friend, and I have problems going out and meeting new...

Chronic fatigue and low body temperature

When I have been in a very warm bath for 15-30 minutes, my fatigue almost disappears. Biologically I can imagine the only difference is raised body temperature. What is it that is causing our body temperature to drop to such a level as to directly induce fatigue. Or is there some other reason...

Does eating late affect your fatigue?

I find that the only way to stave off night fatigue is by eating. Generally not just light snacks but full meals. However when I eat no later than 7pm, and Don't eat until 9am the next morning, I find my fatigue in the morning is significantly less.
