    Success with Disability?

    Hi. My Fibro is severe enough now that going back to work (after cervical fusion with complications) is not possible. Has anyone been successful in being approved for disability payments? Any pointers when trying to get through the process? Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Filing for Teacher Retirement Disability?

    AS a teacher in Texas we don't pay into social security. We use teacher retirement as a few other states do too. So I am not eligible fro SS disability. Has anyone here gone though a teacher retirement disability? If so how successful were you?
