    Mottled skin anyone?

In relation to other inherent challenges facing those with FM this is small in the scope of things but was concerning to me nonetheless. I've been watching a pale spotty brown section on my right forearm for about a year now...it's about a 3" oval. No changes lately. So I'm reading this...

Nice to meet you all! I wish it was under better circumstances...

Hi everyone. My name is Sarah and I’m 33, married and without kids (hopefully someday!). I live in a small town in Washington state. I can’t work anymore, but when I did I was a special education paraeducator. I was officially diagnosed with fibromyalgia 3 months ago, but I think I may have had...

The problem I see with Fibromyalgia is that it is still not understood why the fibrous muscle tissue forms and continue to build without ever healing. I believe the nerves that run through these muscle fibers are constantly causing the pain we all feel. I have had electrical muscle stimulation...

After another bout with kidney stones and some elevated parathyroid levels my doctor ordered a bone density scan (Dexa scan). I had my bone density scan Wednesday and they were already contacting me Thursday morning to tell me the results were abnormal - it indicated osteopenia, not quite...

    What Sleep Meds Help You?

Hi Everyone, I am new here. I have been dealing with Fibro since the late 1990's. I was taking Elavil for sleep for years. I was sleeping well with it but still having pain. About a year and a half ago my Doc took me off of it so I could take Zoloft in the day. I also suffer from bad PMS and...
