Day 9
Submitted by 1sweed on Fri, 05/24/2013 - 20:24
As you know this is not the 9th day of me being here, it's just my way of setting up the times I blog.
Life is strange how the twists and turns of it all often bring you back to the places you began. I was born in Pa, traveled out west a few times, settled back in Pa, for a short time. Then moved to Fl, for two years, moved back to Pa, then moved to Fl, for 24 years. Now I am back in Pa, again with no plans to move anywheres else for now. And I am content to be here.
Many friends from Fl, ask how can you stand that cold weather and all that snow? And I say back to them how do you stand that terrible humidity and all that rain, with the threats of hurricanes and fire, always present. Wherever you live it is a trade off, many good things in trade for a few bad qualities that can mess up your life.
But where I live, I can go out and enjoy most days, whether there be snow on the ground or the ground is bare. In Fl, I often lost a whole week due to rainstorms or weather too hot to be out in it. The humidity would soak my clothes with sweat and the hurricanes would put the 'fear of God' into me. It was the place I lived then, but this here has always been home.
This is what a blog is for to babble out stuff that most people would not take the time of day to read, nor understand it if they did read it. But I drather think deep thoughts on nothing are kind of welcome here. Maybe I am wrong. LOL
