Day 15

Today was a beautiful day, after a week of very chilly weather. the sun was shining and the slight breeze was warm. It was a good day.

I went to an outdoor wedding that was held in a local public park. They said their vows to each other under a flower laced arbor as their children watched and were a part of the service. The colors of the day were turquoise blue and brown. The bridesmaids wore turquoise gowns and men wore dark brown suits with white shirts and light blue vests and ties. The bride wore a beautiful strapless white gown with turquoise strips in the back. It tied in with the color scheme of all other outfits, as well as, the party favors after the wedding.

The tables were decorated with dark brown or turquoise tablecloths, and there were clear glass covers over the candles. Each table had it's own bottle of white wine that had a label on it with a picture of the bride & groom, and their truck.

We had wonderful music and the food was very good and the cake was chocolate with yummy frosting.

I enjoyed it most because of all my family was there and many people I did not know, but had a chance to meet. But now I am home again and very tired. My legs hurt and my feet. But I felt honored to have been there to share in there joy.

Now this week coming up I will need to rest my muscles and try not to overdo so that I have strength for any fun thing that comes my way.

Isn't it strange how blessed we feel to share in someone elses special moment which often draws us back to our own wedding or perhapes the one we ourselves have planned.

In these moments it gives us a breather, time away from our own lives and pain, while we dance or stand in attendance and watch a new happy life take wing and start to fly.
