My 78 yr old mom was diagnosed with RA 4 yrs ago.  Dr Hojali had her on Humira injections, Methotrexate, Prednisone, Neurotin, and Lortab.  Hojali went back to Jordan, referred his patients to Dr Lipstate, but due to the influx of so many referrals Dr Lipstate had a waiting list. So  Mom went to a dr in Lake Charles.  We did not like him, and he did nothing but blood work, and say ok, and send her home. Finally got in to see Dr Lipstate, he ran all the tests etc and told her she does NOT have RA.  She has Severe Osteoporosis, Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.  He took her off all RA meds and she came back to life.  She sees him every 3 months and he is amazing.  He makes sure you have enough refills till your next appointment.

I was not happy with my Dr handling my Fibromyalgia and Arthritis so I got on his list.  I am 60 and he gave me my first bone scan because my mom and my sister have very bad osteoporosis.  Luckily i am fine.  He also did a full exam, blood work and xrays. Gave me an all over shot because i was in such a bad flare and injected both my knees due to pain and swelling. Did not do anything to my meds till he got blood work in.  Gave me appointment for 3 months.  The next day i got a call and the blood work showed that I could have RA and that if the shot did not give me relief or if a joint got hot and swollen to call to see him asap.  NOW that is a doctor.
