She does not deal with Fibromyalgia, all you will get from her is a Fibromyalgia information sheet

Dr. Milne was helpful for my situation when I saw her. However, she does not treat patients with fibromyalgia. She will diagnose patients with FM, then send them back to their family physician to be treated. The information sheet she gave out on Fibromyalgia listed a specific cause of FM as a “chemical imbalance in the brain (similar to depression).” I had never heard this before and asked her for references to research studies regarding this “cause,” but she did not provide them. It felt very uncomfortable that this cause was listed for newly diagnosed patients. I don’t know if that cause is still listed on her info sheets or not.
