I was recently diagnosed with fibro, They suspected it for a few years before they got to the bottom of it. Hoping to find some peace of mind, and friends who understand. Afterall, did anyone else take forever to get diagnosed because people kept telling them that they were just complaining and that there was nothing really wrong with them? It was horrible. After a while you do start to feel crazy. Anyways, happy to be here, and happy to meet people going through the same motions.

Hi! Welcome! It is nice in many ways to have others who understand most of what you are going through.

It took me almost a year of listening to my body and really being proactive in asking for different tests to be done and constantly pushing when things came back negative. Lots of online research and finally waiting 4 months for a rhuematologist appointment. And now more testing to see what else could be compounding my fibromyalgia symptoms.
