i have finally booked a dental appointment as my usually healthy gums are breaking out everywhere despite me taking super thorough care of them. Those of you i have been sharing threads with will know i am not doing well all round with illness and stress and because of jaw problems have been putting off going.
Pre fibro i always went to dentist every 6 months had no fear and age 55 only have needed 5 fillings.
I am terrified i have periodental disease as my gums are receeding but the dentist always says they don't know why as i have no tartar anywhere and have never needed a scale and polish.....and it's probably dry mouth from meds and general poor health.
Anyone else got gum problems even though they look after their oral health really well?
