Hi
@Mickey
Thinking back, maybe yes? I put it down to the excessive 'plastics' in clothing, cotton wicks moisture away, but , in Australia anyway, it is increasingly hard to find cotton clothing, and the ratio of plastic to cotton has changed to mostly plastic rather than mostly cotton.
quote from a search : "The main issue regarding synthetic fabrics, such as polyester, is that they don’t breathe. Some find, when wearing it, that they can feel sweaty or have a feeling of humidity, which can be uncomfortable"
I started finding in the 80's, and although I love the cotton/poly blend, when the ratios started changing, the heavier plastic content makes me wet on the skin, but the fabric is actually dry to the touch on the outside.
How much may be fibro related, I have no idea at all.
Might be worth checking the fabric against your skin. It's only a thought, that's all
Fibro and meno, I've no idea, but I still dress in layers, to try and balance temperature. I've been a bit that way my whole life, but moreso when and since meno started kicking in.
Pretty random sorts of comments, hope something helps
