Hi everyone, I have been diagnosed for almost two years and there’s not many places that haven’t caused me a lot of pain and discomfort. However I’m currently dealing with the worst of the lot, Feet that chronically hurt when I put weight on them and they get insanely hot (like putting your feet in a hot bath) once I remove my footwear it calms down, feet aren’t hot to touch at all and look completely normal. I’m now only really wearing sliders or lightweight trainers, same problem.

It’s been creeping up on me for a while this symptom and I’m now so limited. Has anyone had this symptom or something similar, I’m desperate for some advice.

Big love fibro crew appreciate your help x

Hello @harrisonbull89 and welcome to the forum. My first question is, have you talked with your doctor about this?

When a person has fibro, which has so many varied symptoms, it is always easy to attribute any new symptom to the fibromyalgia. But it is very important when something new comes up, or if one particular thing gets worse, to have it checked by your doctor, because it could be caused by something else that would be treatable. So please, if you have not, make an appointment with your doctor today.

And if you have talked with your doctor about it, what did they say?

Hi Harrison, i had really hot feet it was many years ago, before i had fibro, im 73 now and i was in my late 40,s or 50, when i walked my feet were on fire i also had it during the night , my doctor thought it could be a b vitamin deficiency it was a long time ago and i cant remember all the details. My doctor sent me to a Podiatrist, who, said it could very well be all the medications i was on. Which turned out to be the case.i hope you can find out whats causing this as its very debilitating and annoying.this may sound stupid but a friend told me to put my feet in as hot water as i could bare. It did give me relief during the night when i couldnt sleep.
