hello deniseallan,
I`m a new member from the UK too~~~been diagnosed with fibro now for over 12 yrs....
After my dr explained a little of it to me I "assumed" I`d maybe ache a little more....sleep a little worse and maybe have an off day now and then! What I didn`t expect was for it to completely change my life~~~Naieve?<maybe ,possibly just ill informed by medical specialists ,who ,then (In the Uk anyways) ,were still unsure themselves exactly how much ,and how deeply it would encroach on sufferers, their families etc...
I`m lucky that I `ve a gp ,who`s bothered to find out as much as he can ,both about fibro ,,and the different therapies available...Finding an online support group has made my night!
Many thank s for the kind welcome ,and for accepting me into your group....I hope ,along with any support I receive ,I can also give some in return....thankyou....Sharon x
