Need doctor

Hi, I was diagnosed with FM & CFS in 1991, in CA. Now live in Louisiana and need a doctor who believes FM exists and will treat with pain meds. Please believe me when I say that I’ve tried all available treatments in my 44+ years of this horrible disease. I need a doctor in my state. Thank you. BHB

Hello @bbbarnard . Since this is an international forum, and I do not know if there is anyone here from Louisiana, I don't know if anyone will be able to help you with a recommendation for a doctor, but maybe someone can help with that.

In the meantime, I did not want you to think you were being ignored, so I am replying.

Have you looked for a Pain Clinic or an independent doctor who specializes in pain treatment? That might be your best bet. Or, you can just start calling doctors and ask them if they treat Fibromyalgia patients. which is a horrible long process, but sometimes will yield results.
