Hello all !
Here is my introduction...
I was first diagnosed in 1999 by a rheumatologist.
Then it went away, and my PCP at that time said if it went away it's not FM
Then around +2007 a much worse pain and fatigue would come in cycles or waves.
Then by 2010 I had huge pain like I had been hit by a bus and constant weakness-fatigue.
I cut out gluten and wheat and I felt better and was able to exercise and loose weight
but then more specific pains and the flue style pain returned.
Later I found a good PCP who did tests like a sleep study and lots of blood tests and CTs and MRIs.
Because my symptoms were so much worse than the original FM diagnosis
we thought I had ankylosing spondylitis.
So my PCP sent me to a gastroenterologist who wasn't helpful
and I've been seeing a rheumatologist since 2014 to test me for other auto immune conditions.
Since the spine MRI and most blood work was normal, I was re-diagnosed with FM.
I've done an IgG blood test for food intolerance and I've cut out most process foods
and I keep a food diary but there are days none this makes any sense.
I reintroduced yogurt and Kefir in March as the probiotics pill weren't helping anymore for the bloating.
I exercise on some days when I have some energy.
But I get so behind in chores, tasks and errands.
It's hard to focus when I have the brain fog.
I had support from a friend but he died.
I look perfectly normal except for tired eyes so people don't believe me.
One of my biggest problems asides from the unpredictability of the FM attacks
is feeling strong enough to get groceries and presyncopes.
I read Presyncopes are related to FM.
My areas of interest in FM healing are: sleep and diet and probiotics.
