Hay I'm having a bad day Iwhere did all my friends go has it been a month since I said we would try meet next week.... opps i did crash how long ago was that? Opps there goes my last friend I can't even count them on my hands any more. when did that happen. I had a job friends prospects dreams and ambitions where did they go....

Sorry guys I'm just letting it out... yeet

So let's start again I was diagnosed with ME cfs fibromyalgia in 2021 after becoming ill during covid which flipped my world upside down I fluctuate from bed bound to house bound.

Before this I worked in a school and raised my family.

Over the years I've search for support in my local area there are two groups 1 me cfs yoga I tried this and lost my speech and mobility resulting in a crash opps. 2 a fibro group which once a month however due to my every changing fluctuating condition its really hard to be well on that one day and I've never made it to a meeting I'm hoping I'll be well enough for the next.

Sooooo I've taken to reaching out the to the online community but obviously struggling.

This is my second attempt however know one seems to message back I feel like that person on the floor who's world has just broken sobbing in disbear while everyone walks past.

If there is anyone out there who has me or fibro who can relate and is looking for friends who they can relate to have a giggle with do say hi

Hi @YOUlookGREAT
Sadly I think all of us can empathise with the feeling we are alone in feeling like this - may be true compared to those about us in the physical world, but on here we are all the same to varying degrees. And as you say, fibromyalgia means huge fluctuations affecting life even more.
I hope that you may be able to be well enough on a day The meetings take place next time. Planning g kind of goes out the window with some symptoms and ME on top is a double whammy.

You loom/sound young? There was a recent thread of you can search it, for someone else young and looking for similar people to connect with @pandoralys maybe? Hope they get in touch. But vent away. We all need that.

Hi there.
I am very sorry you felt ignored!
One thing to keep in mind is that this is an international forum, so we are all on different time zones. It's not an instant messaging thing.

And also, everyone here has fibro, so we have days when we can think and do things and days when we cannot. If no one replies to your post for a day, please don't take it personally or think no one wants to have a conversation with you. We definitely do. We are all here to connect with others, and to try to help. sometimes it might just take a day or more for someone to reply, but it's not ever because we don't care. Someone will always reply to you as best we can.
And if there's any way we can help, we will do that.

Hi @YOUlookGREAT 👋💓

I'm a newbie to this forum too, I do hope you have some better days soon 💖

I know how hard it is when it's tough to keep a hold of friendships etc due to our conditions, the good friends will stick around but at the same time it's hard for others to completely understand what we go through as individuals.

I hope you might be able to take some time soon to do some little things that you enjoy and can make you smile 💗 I find even giving my dog a smoosh or just popping outside with a cuppa and taking in some fresh air helps when I'm feeling particularly bad 😊

I have a lot of days where I am reduced to tears and feelings of hopelessness but it will and does pass - I find watching my favourite comedy shows help on the worst days 📺😊

Sending love and hugs 💕🤗
