Lidocaine Infusion...

I personally haven't tried that, but wanted just to respond so you wouldn't think you were being ignored. Maybe someone else here will be able to give you their experience with this.

I read on a Russian-language forum about only one experience of using lidocaine for fibromyalgia, she was injected with lidocaine in the most painful points. The effect was short-lived. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that blocks signal transmission from neurons. By the way, lidocaine injections into a vein are also used for cardiac arrhythmia and are successfully treated, but this is strictly according to the doctor's prescription and supervision. Lidocaine leads to anaphylactic shock to a lesser extent than novocaine. But if you have not had novocaine injections before, then before using lidocaine, you need to do a lidocaine test on your skin to determine if you have an allergic reaction.

I have been doing them for 2 years now. I have to say the IV lidocaine infusions do help, although not how they're intended, per my understanding. I've been told if you have fibro they're supposed to help decrease pain. For me, it doesn't affect pain levels but reduces systemic inflammation and increases energy levels like crazy. I no longer have days where I can't get up off the couch. I get them every 4 weeks, by week 3 my swelling starts coming back.

I'd say if you can find someone to do them it's worth a try. Good luck! If you have any specific questions let me know!
