Is this fibromyalgia

Hi there I am new poster so bear with me please hope this is the proper place to post. I WAS diagnosed with osteoporosis about 2 years ago and I am fed up of the doctors telling me I should n
ot be sore unless I fracture they just don't know how much pain I am in I have had dreadful pain in the middle off my back for years and in my hip and neck now in my leg I am on strong painkillers which do not help. It was my daughter who came across an article about fibromyalgia and wondered if that is what is wrong with me.Is there any treatment for this or is it just the painkillers will the doctor know about it or is it something else they don't believe exists like so many other things thank you do you think it could be what is wrong it would be so good to put a name to it all as I am sure u would agree Thank you

Amberlee,it could be many things. Call your local hospital, ask for a doctor referral that has experience with fibro. Research fibro and view our posts. If you do have it or don't have it please know you have pain and your welcome here.we know pain. Let us know how your doing.
