It's nice to meet you all I have had Fibromyalgia for at least 4 years and it is wearing me down to the bone. I have seen specialist after specialist and no one seems to be able to help with the physical and mental challenges that this medical condition entails. In the past 4 years, I have lost 45 lbs., I eat mostly whole foods now, and I have to get at least 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night just to function for a "normal" day. I have also started exercising more, but it's a tough balance because if you exercise too much you hurt, if you do it too little you hurt as well. I try and find balance everyday so that this ailment will be livable. I am 48 years old, soon to be 49 and I am really tired of dealing with this! I have no family support and very few friends. I also have several other chronic conditions that have similar symptoms that are exacerbating this condition. I look forward to any and all suggestions and moral support that I can get from this forum. I hope you are all feeling as well as possible today and I hope I will feel better soon. I just found the complaint and vent forum...sorry if I did too much of that on this forum.
