HI am a newbie

Hi i have had fibro for 7 years but due to huge emotional stresses have gone so far down hill am struggling to cope. I am a newbie and praying for any help or hope or support available

Hi Willow. I also have had emotional stresses in my life. Maybe fibromyalgia is the internalization of that stress. It is important I think to acknowledge this for what it is and to try to deal with that problem as well as the pain. Try to only worry about what you can change and improve and let the rest go.

Hi Willow, welcome. I've found this to be a safe supportive place hope you do too.

Getemgirl has some good advice about dealing with the problem causing the stress if possible. If I can't do that it helps me to write down what is bothering me. Something about doing that helps me let it go.

You can also vent here, make friends and exchange information. I hope you find relief soon.
