Hi! I'm new here. You can call me Rose, nice to meet you all!

I've only just been diagnosed with fibro a few days ago, but I've been showing signs and symptoms for years. Unfortunately, I'm not always surrounded by the most understanding people in the world. My pain is often made light of and invalidated; Which is why I was so happy to come across this site and hopefully be among friends.

Ahh, a little about me? I'm a 25 year old SoCal native. I'm horribly obsessed with Disney, I play too many video games, take tv shows way too seriously, and spend probably more time online than is considered healthy. Socializing IRL is actually terrifying for me on top of being fatigued most of the time, so I spend most days at home. I guess plain and simple, I'm a pretty big nerd.

Anyways, excited to be here! Can't wait to make friends.

Hello Rose, I’m new here too! It’s good to hear you have a diagnosis which makes getting help easier c: I unfortunately haven’t been diagnosed just yet but have had two different GP’s mention it to me this year after years of doctors appointments and heaps of different doctors. I have been referred to a pain specialist though so I’m in the waiting process to see them.

I’m serious about tv shows too! I get heaps invested in characters c: I love the walking dead and game of thrones. It’s heartbreaking when your favourite characters die or leave the shows though

Hi Rose; I'm an old man that plays video games also and am wondering if your having any difficulties playing caused by your fibro and how your handling them if so. I seem to have started with fibro a few years ago but it just started to get serious enough to interfere with my gaming.
