At last I have found someone who fully understands our illness. I watched his NON COMMERCIAL video from the University of California..His name Dr Andrew J Gross. OSHER centre of intergrative medecine
under " Mini medical school for the public "
THIS IS NOT A VIDEO WITH A HIDDEN AGENDER OR COMMERCIAL..
This is an excellent Doctor who actually understands and explaines almost everything known about the illness.

I found it on youtube and it's over a hour long. He is explaining it to a group of doctors and helping to get a global understanding of the symptomes and problems associated with the illness, like chronic fatigue, pain,IBS, depression, low asteem, memory problems etc etc. At last someone intellegent, not trying to scam us with a miracle cure, but helping to spread the knowledge to doctors and specialists and suffures alike.

I thouroughly reccomend you watch this video. whether you are a sufferer or helping someone with fibro this will help you to understand and be aware of other problems associated with fibro.

This is the most helpfull article I have found and although no cure or treatment is suggested it will help you understand what is wrong with your body and that will help your mind..
Please comment when you have seen the full video.
Just look up the name and reference. im not posting the link directly..

Awesome, I will surely look it up when I have the chance... tomorrow is going to be a looong day! A week full of doctor appointments and such! Great to hear there is someone out th3re willing to explain this disease in full detail, this kinda made my day... or should I say... night? Thanks a lot, I'm always glad when a doctor backs up fibro and let everyone know this disease actually exists and isn't a lie.

WOW! That's great. I had a friend once tell me that her Father is a doctor and he tells her that a lot of doctors believe that Fibro is a fake disease, created for when they have no explanation. Glad there are doctors who understand.

Watched video, I saw a new Doctor who treats fibro and she is bang on with this Dr Andrew.
Although she does not agree with the medication being used, other than Nsaids and votaren emu gel.
I am going to give this a try as I am at the end of my rope. Have been following diet and stretching,
Has been 8 days, nothing yet. Still sleep poorly, have bad days, but I have had a bad patch before starting.
Here's to hope.

I know several doctors who also believe that. They think that fibro is just a scapegoat used by most doctors who have no idea or don't care what's going on in our bodies! It's scary when you think about it, but I'm glad there actually is a standard test to diagnose it.

I listened to it. It was pretty good. For me, the only drawback is I have so many other things compounded. Here is the actual title of the video, "Fibromyalgia: It's Real It's Manageable What You Can Do". Thank you for bringing it to our attention!.....

Thank you for telling us about this doctor from California. Often, it only takes one doctor to acknowledge that your suffering is real, and you are not faking it.
My internist explained how various autoimmune diseases mimic each other. Fibromyalgia is a real disease.

It sure is real....Here is another one related to Chronic Fatigue that I listened to. Here is the title: "Stanford's Dr. Jose Montoya on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" I think it's good to find these and feel validated. I started questioning my sanity with all of these health issues until I found this forum. I was floored there are so many out there who have almost, if not, identical symptoms.....Especially "foggy brain". I thought I was crazy! Seriously! I was starting to feel so overwhelmed and it was compounded by feeling scared that I couldn't think straight. Duh, it's part of the symptoms......
