Hello. I am in the process of being diagnosed with this wicked chronic pain syndrome called fibromyalgia.
I was first diagnosed with Myofascial pain syndrome about 2 years ago when the pain from a surgery had never stopped hurting and proceded to affect one side of my body.
Now, I have chronic pain throughout my body and am revisiting the idea of fibromyalgia. My Internist has done blood work to rule out other possibilities and has said I have a lot of the symptoms. My primary care Dr. said that with all my symptoms that I'm having it is definitely fibro.
Sometimes I feel as though I'm losing my mind, like maybe I'm imagining the pain, or that my head is playing tricks on me. Does anyone else feel this way?
I am currently on gabapentin and recently started Celexa to hopefully help me get out of this pain.
Thanks for letting me share,
Bev
