anyone with fibro a spinal stenosis

I have suffered for many years with back pain, I was just diagnosed with this 2 days ago I thought it was the fibromyalgia. Does anyone else have this and what treatment are you taking? Did you have surgery? Did Fibromyalgia effect how you heal from surgery? Any advise would be appreciated Thank you

I don't have stenosis but had three joint surgeries last year. The FM did not flare or make anything worse and they healed as normal.
My mother did have stenosis, had surgery and it helped her a lot.

I ended up with spinal stenosis after a hip replacement in 2010, I ended up with so many complications, I could scream all day. I'm not sure if it was you who brought this up before, but I've explained what I did for the SS, it's improved from where I was about 3some yrs ago...

I used acupuncture from a rheumy I was seeing, and got some special PT work and do SS exercises/stretches at home. There was a time when I could hardly sit for 5 mintues.....

After this hip replacement mess, I hope I never do another surgery. J
