3 surgerys in 5 weeks

Well as title says I've had 3 ops on my spine in 5 weeks.ive been in hospital in Sept.so been away from this site a while.
I also got the bug SAB which is a brother of MRSA.so still having antibiotics through a pik line.This has knocked me for 6.And tbh fibro hadn't had a look in.
But my back hurts alot.and I'm forgetting everything. My memory seems shot to bits ,I'm forgetting things left right and centra and I wasn't this bad before.has anyone else found long illness amd fibromyalgia make your memory worse.

Wishing you well @Forgetmenot you have had a tremendous stress both physically and emotionally. I hope, gradually you can begin to recuperate. Stress does affect my cognitive state, memory being something that is within that, but it tends to be more short term memory for me. I put it down to my mind having too much to cope with. I never used to be like this. i think a combination of external stresses, menopause, fibromyalgia, and 2 types of arthritis all within a 2 year span have had a toll on my mind.

I really wish you well and hope that slowly you can improve and the pain lessens. You have been through an awful lot, do take care of yourself.
And we are practically neighbours - am on Herts\Cambs area
