I have noticed that my body as a fibromyalgia sufferer is low in water content for years. I have great difficulty with my bodily functions.

As I understand it my bodies water content should be between 55-70%. Sadly looking harder at my weighing scales functions has found my bodies water content is consistently around 48-46%.

I do actually have mental & memory issues since the 10th year of fibro. So that’s 22 years later I’ve finally noticed this fact.

Check yours please and post age, term of fibro and water content.

I have no idea how to do this!
I do notice a difference in muscle strength and spasms, when I have been working hard and sweating. Also when I have been drinking more tea or soda. I quickly start pushing water down! It does help. If this is what you are talking about?

Actually, no but in the right direction. Long time sufferers may be of more use as if they have same/similar issue it may be a direction of research.

In other words how to get more water in the body without drowning.

I already drink 2-2.5 ltrs of water a day. How on Earth would I be able to increase water content if I’m already drunk 🥴 with water.

I drink a minimum of three liters of water a day and more in the summer. It doesn't make me "drunk on water".

Drinking a lot of water (not soda or tea) is generally very good for the body, unless you have some specific condition that means your doctor told you to drink less.

I see. I easily do my 8 glasses a day, thus 64 ounces here in the US. Usually more. Depends on the time of year too.
I see from your stats by your name, that you were dxed in 1995. Same here. Only took 6 years to get it! But eventually got my answer. Not what I wanted to hear, but at least an answer.

64 ounces is 1.8ltrs.
You will likely need to find a way to absorb more water.

Re water: Add an electrolyte to it. Clean tho not full of sugar and added junk It definitely helps to get this water down.
